Έτσι είναι ζωή

For the past week and a half now there has been a garbage strike going on in Athens. The trash has not been picked up forever and it literally overflowing to the streets and sidewalks.  And to top it all off its been raining here the last couple fo days, so trash is floating down the streets with the rain water.  And can I just remind you that you are not allowed to flush toilet paper here.... you have to throw it away, so yes it smells wonderful here... especially now that it is all wet.  GROSS!!  But I guess as the Greeks would say Έτσι είναι ζωή.... so is life!
